Weekly "Movie" Post
This week's post is something I have wanted to bring up for a while, but I wanted to get my weekly posts better established. Since I did not really do that, I figured I would give it a shot anyway.
If Christian and I are busier than usual we try to play Battleship, which is easy to do while doing homework. Two summers ago, Christian and I bought the table top game to play while we were at my family's cabin in Northern Michigan. Before Christian went back to Grand Rapids for school, I gave him one of the two Battleship containers that I will picture below.
Two play, we set it up like you normally would and send each other letter-number sequence guesses over Snapchat. I will admit that we ask each other what the other recently guessed quite often. After every game he and I discuss how we should start keeping a notebook to keep track so we can stop asking those questions.
Now, Battleship may be more of a game of chance than strategy, but I am good at Battleship. I hardly ever lose, no matter who I am playing against.
The only other games Christian and I play are on the PS4. Our favorite at the moment is Ark: Survival Evolved, which I highly recommend to everyone, especially if you like dinosaurs. It is an interesting survival game where you can tame dinosaurs, and it is especially enjoyable to play with others.
The overall point of this post is to ask everyone in some sort of long distance relationship if they do anything similar to what Christian and I do, like play Battleship, Ark, or watch movies? If you do, please feel free to comment and let me know.
I also wanted to ask everyone if you have any game suggestions that could work for long distance? I was thinking UNO would work well. Please leave any suggestions in the comments below!
Here is the picture I was talking about in the beginning (My board is the winning one):
