Weekly Movie Post

It is now a new week and time for a new post about movies and other entertainment Christian and I have watched for our date nights.

These two movies in particular we have watched numerous times, and we have deemed them to be "our movies."  The first one is Deadpool, which is hands down the best love story of them all.  We saw the movie opening night together (actually together) and it immediately became our favorite.  From the sound track to Ryan Reynolds in red spandex, the movie cannot get any more entertaining.

The second movie is Kubo and the Two Strings, which is an underrated claymation movie about magic and family and love.  The movie is also quite sad, and Christian and I end up in tears every time we watch it.  This movie is not for everyone, and because of it's serious tone, I do not recommend it as a children's movie, thought it may appear to be.  We chose this one to be one of "our" movies because the relationship between Monkey and Beetle reminded Christian and I so much of us.

To keep this post short, I just want to recommend our top two movies, along with suggesting you and your significant other/best friend find a movie you can always go back to and enjoy.  It may take some searching, but there is at least one out there.  And you will always know when you have found the one.
