Working Our Way Up (Slowly But Surely)

Currently, Social Media is a major key in establishing an audience and a huge part of everyone's daily
lives.  To Christian and I, social media is a way for us to stay in touch with one another, along with
being a platform to display our skills that we plan on using in the future.

Christian has an old "smart" phone that he almost always lets die, so when I can't get a hold of him
that way, I know to use other platforms such as Snapchat and Facebook Messenger that will pop up
on one of his three other devices.

Using Snapchat, the two of us are able to see and listen to each other both through using the video
chat and basic pictures and videos.  On Facebook Messenger, we constantly send each other YouTube
videos, memes (I know, couple goals.  Right?), pictures, and things of the sort.

As I mentioned before, Christian and I also use social media as a way to put ourselves out there and get
discovered.  In one of my first blog posts I promoted Christian's Instagram where he shows off his art
work (all creepy or nerdy, by the way, so if you like creepy or nerdy artwork, you should go follow him).
The only social media platform where I try to promote my writing is here, where I have decided to start
reaching an audience.

Somewhere down the road I plan on writing novels, Christian plans on becoming an illustrator, and
together we will combine our skills to create comic books.  Social media is our way of getting people
to see our work while we are focusing on school.  We both have limited amounts of free time, and we
use social media to keep ourselves motivated, as well as doing things we enjoy.

If you have any suggestions (besides Christian posting more often), please leave a comment below!

Here's an unfinished "collaborative" work (I drew the pattern of his scales) posted by Christian on
