Our Back Story and Now
I had just moved back to South Bend, Indiana from Plainfield, Illinois for my last year of high school and was completely alone. I had to start a new life one year before I was going to have to do the same thing all over again with college.Christian was the first person to talk to me about three days in to the school year. We instantly got along, talking about choir and books and how our favorite fictional character is The Joker. He pulled out a drawing he did of Harley Quinn and The Joker, wrote his number down, and gave it to me.
I was beyond excited to have a new friend, and messaged all of my Illinois friends telling them about this great guy that started talking to me and how we had so much in common. But I had forgotten his name. It was either Christian or Christopher, and I was almost positive that it was Christopher.
As I am sure you guessed, I was not correct. None the less, Christian and I spent about a month realizing how much we had in common, we met each other's families, and on September 25th, 2015, we started dating. From then and to the end of summer, we were inseparable. But in August he moved away. I stayed in home with my family to attend Indiana University South Bend as an English Major. Christian moved into a house with three other people to attend Kendall College of Art and Design as an Illustration Major.
Christian and I are currently almost done with our second year away from each other. The first year was horrible. He lived with three girls, which will not be named, but lets just say they were not on the top of my most liked list. Christian now lives with three other boys, who are also not awesome, but they all get along fairly well.
Christian and I often discuss our goals in life and even plan on creating comics together since he wants to illustrate (mainly comics) and I plan on writing novels. The future, in general, is a common topic for us, due to our mutual hate for the distance between us. As I mentioned in the "About this Blog" post, he wants to illustrate comics and I want to write. Ideally, the two of us want to work together. As of right now, he is trying to get more popular and brand himself via Instagram. You can follow him Here. I have decided to start this blog, and write about he and I to practice my writing skills, and to give college students insight on a long distance relationship.

This is an adorable blog. I enjoyed the personal background as it added to the text. This topic is also something that many students also deal with while in college, so people can relate to it. It was a little difficult to find the comment section, but that could be just my screen. Overall, I really enjoyed this blog concept.
ReplyDeleteThank you! And I will look into figuring out the comment section issue. Thanks for letting me know!
